One of the best place in Kigali situated in the TRUE African settings of an African city, called Nyamirambo to have a nice African jellof Rice or Biryani as Rwandans call it. A taste you can't afford to miss once you are in Rwanda. Good customer service and quick delivery.

Just like it's name implies, Tamu Tamu is a place to enjoy a good meal. I found this place through GO Kigali on our city tour. It was the spot to sample Rwandan delicacies. It was very enjoyable. Make sure you have some Pilau, some spinach, banana porridge and of course beans! Their juice and smoothie are very nice too. Rumor had it, that Tamu Tamu is the place to enjoy quality meals at affordable prices.

The heart of the commercial district with stores of every kind. This is the Rwandan experience of a local restaurant in the shopping district. Filled with locals and good, very low cost, homemade food. No liquor but great tea, coffee and fresh juices. Home spun Rwandan style. Park on side street.

Amazing and delicious African food But what amazed me the most is that mixed ugali of sorghum and casaava flour eating them with those small fish called (Isambaza) ...! Feels like heaven on earth they're real TAMU saaana ..!

Mini Tamu Tamu is a small, humble spot in Kigali that quietly delivers solid eats without pretense. The food was good, the staff explained dishes patiently even though the menu wasn’t fully in English, and the prices were very reasonable. If you’re after a local dining experience off the beaten path in Kigali, this is a reliable choice.

Abou Tamu Tamu House of Pilau. It was a good experience. The waiters are friendly enough. Respectful. Cleanliness could be improved bigtime. The tables had stains, the floor was dirty with spilt sauces and dust. That was disappointing. The food, however, was amazing. I had the cassava flour ugali with beef, onion and red beans. Pretty much a standard African dish. The beef was soft. The onion mix was tasty and flavourful, the beans were good. And the ugali… mmhhh delicious. I also had the milk tea. absolute perfection. I enjoyed my time over there.
